We Raise Our Flags to welcome you to Camp Coyote. We think you'll find Camp Coyote to be every campers idea of what a summer camp should be. We have a Texas-size swimming pool, tennis courts, modern playing fields, a weight room, fishing lakes and air-conditioned "bunk barns" with indoor plumbing! (Lots of our kids parents want to stay too!!) Comfortable...but rough enough to knock a few of these big city edges off you!

Camp Coyote is located on the site of the historic Rose Ranch near the headwaters of Bedias Creek. Just 9 miles north of Huntsville, Texas this 2,000 acre working cattle ranch boasts a rich variety of native vegetation and wildlife, artesian wells, several lakes, designated riding trails, and majestic hills with sweeping views of surrounding plains and valleys. Let your horse wander the wide open spaces...gather around the camp fire under a starlit sky...listen to the mockingbirds...and smell the scent of pines and honeysuckle. You've never experienced anything quite like Camp Coyote.

Positive Attitudes prevail at Camp Coyote and we challenge and encourage kids in all of our activities. "You can do it," "That was great!," "Hang in there," These are phrases we use over and over again. With scheduled activities such as water skiing, scuba diving and an eleven element challenge course nestled in the trees, everyone has an opportunity to excel.
Safety is of utmost importance and these activities are supervised by trained, certified and experienced personnel!

At Camp Coyote we seek to provide opportunities for people to grow and learn. Toward this goal, we are happy to assist groups in planning retreats that will be both meaningful and enjoyable. The responsibilities of a retreat leader are challenging and consuming. Every retreat is unique in its own way, so we will assist you throughout the planning process. We want to help make your stay a success.
